It was early, and the night’s mist turned to freezing rain and when I went out to the Volvo to whip down to the shop, the windows were frozen. And I like a good Midwesterner, I started looking around of my scraper. And then it hit me: I didn’t have one.

And I had to sit there forever, waiting for that windshield defroster to do it’s heavy lifting. Took forever.
